Rya Rug Rental

You can also rent rya rugs from The Friends of Finnish Handicraft. We offer rya rugs from different periods, designed by well-known Finnish textile artists, available for rental. You may rent a rya rug for as long as you wish; the minimum rental period is one month. If you choose, you may purchase the rug, in which case the monthly rental payments will be credited toward the purchase price.
The monthly rental fee ranges from €150 to €300 per month, depending on the purchase price of the rya rug.

Price List

Rent is paid monthly in advance.
The monthly rental fee is determined by the price of the rya rug as follows:

Rya rug price            Monthly rent (incl. VAT)
up to 1,999 €              150 € / month
2,000–2,999 €         200 € / month
3,000 € and over     300 €/ month

Right of Purchase:
The rya rug may be purchased, in which case all rental payments already made will be deducted from the selling price.

Agreement:
A written agreement will be drawn up for the rental of the rya rug.

Delivery Terms:
Ex works (warehouse).
The rya rugs are rented in their condition at the time of rental. The renter is liable for any damage caused to the rya rug during the rental period.
